There’s a wide range of CLAAS balers to choose from across our seven locations. Numerous QUADRANT models are available, including the QUADRANT 5300, 5200 and 4200 all of which have 6 knotters 4200. The feed options for the 3 models include ROTO FEED (without knives), ROTO CUT (25 knives), FINE CUT (51 knives) or SPECIAL CUT (180 knives). With six high-power knotters and automatic pressure control (APC), it makes baling easy.
For smaller bales, there’s the QUADRANT 4000 square baler, for bale size of 0.80x0.50m. With maximum bale density, wilted silage, straw and hay can be precisely shaped. And depending on your preference, the bale density and bale length can be adjusted as required. The 4000 bales forage that is perfect for ruminants, and especially suitable for horses, thanks to its well-engineered packer tine technology.
The ROLLANT range of CLAAS balers are round balers that come with a fixed bale chambers and have the option of an integrated bale wrapper on the ROLLANT 455 UNIWRAP. The ROLLANT 540 fixed chamber round baler ensures high forage yields through its 1.22 x 1.25 m bale size. This model offers outstanding reliability and is also particularly robust with 15 reinforced bale chamber rollers. It features cast steel shaft bearings too. For user-friendliness and efficiency, driver workload is reduced by the automatic knife cleaning cycle, automatic knife deactivation and the convenience of knife group selection from the cab. Launched this year for the 2019/2020 season is the new ROLLANT 520 producing a 1.25m diameter bale. The bale chamber has 16 rollers with a ribbed profile to ensure precise rotation of the bales even under moist conditions.
We also offer variable chamber round balers – the VARIANT 485–460 series. With a tailgate that opens and closes automatically in just six seconds and knives that are automatically deactivated at the end of each bale, the VARIANT line is efficiency redefined.
