NSTS Sprayer Testing
The National Sprayer Testing Scheme - NSTS provides testing for all types of pesticide application equipment (PAE). The scheme was introduced in 2002 following the introduction of a voluntary scheme set up in 1997 by the AEA.
All pesticide application equipment applying professional plant protection products must be tested. The requirements are contained in the Plant Protection Products (Sustainable Use) Regulations 2012 - Sustainable Use Directive (SUD).
